Being pregnant is truly a miracle, a special event to be enjoyed, captured and remembered. Tara totally understands this and her enthusiasm and desire to capture this amazing time is infectious and genuine. Women wait for that life-changing phone call that goes like this, “We've got the results, you’re pregnant!” It’s usually the best phone call we'll ever receive.

The second best phone call I’ve ever received was from Tara at Love Nest Photography. She called me one day and said, “I drew your name from a contest and you’ve won a free Earth Mother photography session from Love Nest Photography!”

I could hardly believe it. I’d wanted to have my photos done professionally while I was pregnant, but hadn’t made it a priority (there are lots of things pregnant women have on their minds and on their to-do lists).

Needless to say, I was thrilled. The day Tara arrived was kind of dull and I was concerned about the lighting for the pictures. Tara put me right at ease and told me she was going to make everything work out! We had a lot of fun walking around my garden and taking pictures. She brought great fabric to wrap me in! We had fun playing with different colours, textures, accessories, and so on. My dog even had her picture taken with me! Tara really knew how to capture things that were important to me.

When Tara returned to my house to show me the pictures she had a beautiful presentation set to music for me. My mom and I watched the presentation together and we laughed and cried. Although it had only been 5 weeks since my baby was born, it was almost surreal to think of me as being pregnant.

The pictures were beautiful. Holding my baby and looking at the pictures of me pregnant with her strengthened the already very strong bond I have with my daughter.

I couldn’t have imagined the process of working with Tara going any better. She is fun, professional, and very interested in capturing the beauty and joy of pregnancy. I would recommend (and already have recommended) that my friends call her and book an appointment.
