Pregnancy Portrait Packages
Each of our Maternity Portrait Packages includes this 4-step process:
- Step One — An Initial Consultation
- In the comfort of your own home, Tara will come to meet with you. You can review her portfolio and discuss any questions you may have. Together, you will determine shoot locations in your home and discuss wardrobe, hair & makeup, props etc. You will also discuss the artist’s Terms of Agreement, and set a date for the shoot to take place if you decide to move forward.
Length of time: approximately 1 hour. - Step Two — Photo Shoot
- In the comfort of your own nest, Tara will photograph you on a date that is good for you. Shoot time, wardrobe changes, props, and/or room location, number of photos taken and length of time will depend on the package you select.
- Step Three — Final Image File Preparations
- The final image file process is an important part of every photography session. Back at our studio, the image files are readied to become the art that will eventually hang on your wall. Here, the photographer reviews and sorts the images into computer files. She then selects the best shots from each scene and prepares a final selection of the best images for you ... edited, cropped, colour corrected, retouched.
Length of time: Allow a minimum of 3-4 weeks for image file preparations following the date of the last photo taken of you. - Step Four — Presentation
- We return to your home for the final reveal! Together, we’ll review all of the images either as a slide show on our laptop or from your DVD player (if available). You will receive a disk with high resolution / large digital files, best for printing enlargements up to 11X14 in size and low resolution / small digital files, best for e-mailing to family and friends.
Length of time: approximately 1 hour.
- Applicable taxes are extra.
- Photographer’s travel expenses within the Toronto area are included.

Call to schedule your session today! For the “Earth Mother” package, we recommend scheduling your photography session 6-10 weeks before your due date. However, Tara has photographed clients just days before their due date, so give us a call to discuss the time that is best for you.
